Petalfall
A downloadable game for Windows
A single line. A single blade. Petalfall is a turn-based roguelike deckbuilder set on one straight path. You and your foes stand on the same line of tiles, every enemy shows its next move, and every card is a real movement of your samurai: a slash, a dash, a throw, a guard. Each turn is a small puzzle of position, facing and timing.
The four Season Seals have been stolen. Since the seasons stopped, the petals keep falling and nothing blooms. Your sensei's finest student took them. Set out from Sakura Village, fall, return, and try again.
Early Access
Petalfall is in early access: the whole journey is playable from start to finish, and it will keep growing with new paths, cards and content. A free demo is available below.
Features
- One line, real positioning: move, dash through enemies, get behind them, push them into each other. Strikes from behind deal +50%.
- Readable threats: every enemy shows its intent and the exact tiles it will hit. The preview and the real result use the same rules, so nothing is a surprise.
- Combo chains: chain melee hits in one turn; the third hit stuns.
- Four acts, four lands, four bosses: a spring forest, an autumn forest, a snowy Winter Night where the snow hangs frozen in the air, and a burning dead forest for the Final Duel. Each boss guards a stolen elemental seal you can inscribe into your attacks.
- 50 cards in three rarities, 10 charms, 6 provisions across four deck styles: combo, poison, push and shuriken. Legendary cards are rare finds; seals reclaimed from bosses are inscribed into your attacks at shrines.
- Enemies that change with the seasons: crimson, verdant and azure archers with fire, poison and ice arrows; undead ronin that rise once in the Final Duel. A Bestiary in the Dojo records every foe and how often you have beaten it.
- A soundtrack for every season: koto, shakuhachi, temple bells and taiko, generated in code like every other sound.
- Three playable characters: the Wanderer; Kagerō, a kunai thrower who marks her targets (defeat her once to have her join you); and the Sensei, who turns patience into Block and heals himself (finish the journey to learn his secret).
- Bosses that change the fight: Kagerō hides behind a shadow clone you must cut down; the Bamboo Panda's body slam stuns you if you stay on the marked tile.
- Events and elite affixes: roadside encounters with a price, and Armored, Tough or Cursed elites marked on the map.
- Ascension: finish the journey to unlock ten stacking difficulty levels.
- A village to return to: walk through Sakura Village, talk to its people and yokai, and spend the memory leaves you gather in the Dojo to unlock new paths.
- A story that moves forward with every fall: your sensei, rivals and allies react to how far you have come.
- Built for feel: hitstop, screen shake, damage on the exact animation frame, handcrafted pixel art, and a cinematic finisher for every boss.
- A guided sparring session against a training dummy, with your sensei explaining each step, teaches the basics. Full keyboard and gamepad support.
- Languages: English and Turkish.

- Konum her şey: atıl, düşmanın içinden geç, arkasına dolan, birbirine çarptır.
Her mevsime kendi müziği; gamepad desteği.
- Dört perde, dört ayrı diyar, dört boss: ilkbahar ormanı, sonbahar ormanı, karın havada asılı kaldığı Kış Gecesi ve Son Düello için yanan ölü orman; her boss’a sinematik son darbe. üç nadirlikte 50 kart, 10 muska, 6 erzak, dört deste tipi; boss mühürleri tapınakta saldırılara işlenir.
- Üç oynanabilir karakter (Gezgin, Kagerō ve sırrını yolun sonunda öğreneceğin Usta), yol olayları, ekli elitler, 10 kademeli Yükseliş.
- Yürünebilir Sakura Köyü, Dojo’da kalıcı gelişim, her düşüşte ilerleyen hikâye.
